Former Senate President Bukola Saraki has urged the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to accept the court ruling, stop ongoing lawsuits, and organize a fresh national convention, Peak Newspaper reports.
Saraki said continuing legal battles could further weaken the party and affect its chances in future elections.
According to him, holding a new national convention would help restore unity within the party and ensure that its candidates are protected from legal complications.
His advice comes amid internal disputes within the PDP leadership, which have triggered multiple court cases and political tensions within the opposition party.
