Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has intensified his re-election campaign ahead of the 2026 governorship election, taking his campaign to the hometown of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, Peak Newspaper reports.
Addressing supporters during a campaign rally, Adeleke appealed to residents to support his bid for a second term, highlighting his administration’s achievements and pledging to sustain developmental projects across the state.
The governor urged voters to look beyond political affiliations and assess his government’s performance, expressing confidence that his record in office would earn him another mandate.
The move is seen as a strategic effort by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to make electoral gains in areas considered strongholds of the opposition ahead of the forthcoming governorship election.
