Former Peoples Democratic Party lawmaker, Naheem Balogun, has declared his intention to contest the 2027 Lagos State governorship election on the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Peak Newspaper reports.
Balogun said his decision followed consultations with political associates and community leaders across the state. He cited the need for inclusive governance, improved service delivery, and a fresh political direction for Lagos.
The former lawmaker added that the ADC offers an alternative platform to challenge the dominance of established parties in the state ahead of the 2027 polls.
