Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore has officially petitioned the Florida Attorney-General in the United States.
Sowore claims that FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, secretly acquired three luxury properties in Florida using laundered Nigerian public funds.
Properties allegedly registered under the name of Wike’s wife and linked to his children.
Sowore says the acquisitions were part of a scheme to “stash looted funds abroad.”
He is demanding U.S. authorities open a full investigation and possibly seize the assets.
This petition comes just weeks after other civil society groups accused Wike of questionable land allocations in Abuja. It’s sparking heavy debates online about corruption, power, and accountability in Nigeria’s political class.
