Senator Ned Nwoko has openly rejected the outcome of the APC Senatorial Primary for Delta North, insisting that the process was manipulated against him, Peak Newspaper reports.
Speaking during a press conference on Friday, the lawmaker said he would not accept what he described as a compromised result allegedly influenced by former Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa.
Nwoko maintained that the exercise did not reflect the true wishes of party members and warned that ignoring justice could create serious problems for the party ahead of future elections.
The senator also declared that he remains a strong force within the APC and vowed to continue defending what he called the mandate of his supporters across Delta North.
