Abuja – Based Nigerian emerging gospel musician, Ayanfe Adesipe, popularly known as ‘AyanfeWorship’ has revealed that she is “ordained by God to glorify him in the beauty of his holiness and to bridge the alarming bridge in the body of Christ through her music ministration”.

Speaking during a Media chat with journalists on Tuesday in Surulere, Lagos state, organized by her Manager who is also a veteran Nollywood actor, Paul Obazele, AyanfeWorship delved into her life, childhood, family, academics, professional journey, inspiration, spiritual encounters,  passion to touch lives and plans on future projects.

While underscoring some of her spirit-filled songs, AyanfeWorship noted that she had released two single tracks— ‘King of Glory’ and ‘Arise and Shine’. She magnified God for blessing her with the divine sounds, inspiration and a spectacular team that had played a pivotal role in the impeccable production of the projects.

Furthermore, she noted that her songs are on her social media platforms and efforts are ongoing to put her songs on streaming platforms and collaborate with more spirit-filled and focus-driven gospel artistes.

She added, “I release my songs in tracks and not in Albums. I have released two songs, so far — “Arise and Shine” and “King of Glory” and we are on track to release over ten more songs very soon. These songs awaiting release include “My Reality”, “Loving You” and others.

“Also, we are about to launch an app which would serve as a platform that provides the opportunity for the children of God to share their songs and sounds and they’ll also be able to develop themselves.”

While detailing the message behind her songs, She stressed that the ultimate message of her song is to “reunite the world with the love of God,” and to “align the body of Christ, create the atmosphere where the power and majesty of God can flow.”

Speaking further on the division in the body of Christ, she urged Christians to desist from ungodly, divisive behaviours which has angered and exiled the spirit of God, and to embrace “godliness, unity and love, to be in tune with the father through the Son.”

Discussing the inspiration behind her songs, Ayanfe stated that most of her songs are usually gotten during prayer sessions, worship moments and a few from her experiences and day-to-day encounter.

However, she maintained that one of the major challenges she faced in her song ministration career is finding professionals who genuinely understands her assignment and Modus Operandi, appreciating God that this challenge is gradually becoming a testimony as God has started electing his own elects to help in her assignment.

She said, “whenever I spend time in the presence of God, God always deposits a sound in me and he always reminds me that his purposes are preserved in me”.

“I have seen the grace of God manifest through me, so many times— God has blessed me with the grace to unveil his words prophetically, teach the word of God and by his grace, I am anointed with the anointing of healing. All along, there was this passion in me to release sounds. I knew I was supposed to release sounds. The sounds were flowing”.

“I have recorded so many songs, hundreds of them and I see myself as a custodian of these sounds. It has been a long journey, but God kept reminding me through the journey that he wants me to arise and go for me”.

“There was a particular time when I received a song titled Arise And Shine— we were having an in-house prayer time with my team, because I run a Nonprofit Organization, which is also a priesthood organization, we pray and intercede for different categories of people, depending on what God puts in our hearts. It was during one of those intense prayer sessions that a divine sound was deposited into my spirit, and that encounter is the inspiration behind one of my songs, “Arise and Shine.”

Explaining how her stage name, AyanfeWorship was coined, she noted that Ayanfe is a special name that was given to her by her father who is a prophet and a retired University lecturer at the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), alongside her mother, Prophet Victoria Adesipe. According to her, as she grew older, she loved the name Ayanfe because of the symbolic and spiritual meaning of the name, which is translated as ‘beloved’ in the English language.

Addressing a question on people she looks up to in the gospel music industry, Ayanfe asserted “I look up to quite a number of Gospel talents, but more precisely, I genuinely honour God in the lives of Minister Dunsin Oyekan, Nathaniel Bassey, Micheal W. Smith, Sinach and others— their songs are from the throne, they resonate with my spirit and I’m always blessed listening to their songs.”

Commenting on her relationship with Ace On-air personality (OAP) and social media influencer, Ifedayo Olarinde, widely known as ‘Daddy Freeze’, Ayanfe noted that her relationship with the  leader of the #FreeTheSheeple Movement is cordial and solid.

Further describing her affinity with Daddy Freeze, she stated “Daddy Freeze is a Big Brother to me. He is one of the few individuals who have tirelessly supported my ministry and I am grateful for his support and encouragement. He is also an indispensable ally to my management. Daddy Freeze is family to me.”

Reflecting on her childhood experience, AyanfeWorship highlighted how her parent’s dedication to the gospel vitalised her love for God and motivated her to serve God with her life, her talent, and her resources.

Ayanfe started her academic journey at the Model Learning Centre, Zaria. She continued her education at the ABU Staff school. Thereafter, she traversed to Queens School, In Ilorin, Kwara state where she completed her secondary education. Motivated by her learned parents and passion for education, she was admitted into the prestigious University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), where she earned a bachelor’s degree.

Demonstrating unalloyed patriotism and service, Ayanfe answered the Clarion’s call and participated in the mandatory one-year National Youths Service Corp program in Warri, Delta state.
