The Federal High Court will start its 2025 Christmas vacation on December 19 and resume sittings on January 7, 2026, Peak Newspaper reports.
According to the court’s Director of Information, Dr Catherine Christopher, only urgent matters — including fundamental rights cases and vessel-related applications — will be heard during the break.
Abuja, Lagos, and Port Harcourt divisions will remain open with assigned vacation judges, based on a circular issued by Chief Judge John Tsoho.
