The Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, has declared that access to electricity is a fundamental right of every community, not a luxury, as his administration launched a large-scale electrification initiative across the state.
As part of the drive to stimulate economic growth and improve living standards, the Kaduna State Government is distributing 600 electricity transformers and 10,000 solar-powered street lights to communities lacking reliable power supply.
Governor Sani said the intervention is aimed at boosting small businesses, enhancing security, and accelerating grassroots development, stressing that sustainable power access remains central to his administration’s development agenda.
