The Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command, Olusola Odumosu, has ordered the deployment of 3,500 Personnel across the nooks and crannies of the FCT to ensure law and order ahead of the Easter celebrations.
A statement issued on Wednesday by DSC Monica OjobiFCT CDPRO, said the Commandant gave this order while addressing officers and men of the Command ahead of the Easter operations, where he stated that, the deployment is in a bid to provide adequate security for Critical National Assets and Infrastructure in the FCT, as well as protect lives and property of all residents and visitors before, during and after the Easter celebration.He said,
The deployment of officers and men cuts across departments and units such as operations, Critical National Assets and Infrastructure (CNAI), Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Explosives (CBRNE), Mines and Steel, Special Duty, Special Protection Unit (SPU), Anti Vandals, and other Special Forces like the Female Strike Force, Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU), Arms Squad, and Operation Adakasu amongst others.
