Hon. (Dr.) Felix Ehiguese Akhabue has officially resumed duties as the Commissioner for the Edo State Ministry of Water Resources, following his redeployment from the Ministry of Works by Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, Peak Newspaper reports.
Dr. Akhabue assured of a renewed commitment to teamwork, accountability, and effective service delivery.
He emphasized his readiness to build on existing achievements to ensure sustainable growth and improved institutional efficiency.
Speaking further, the Commissioner stated that his primary focus is to implement the policies and programmes of Governor Monday Okpebholo, particularly in the area of water resource management.
He stressed the critical importance of potable water to public health and socio-economic development, pledging to prioritize improved water supply across the state.
