The Publisher of Peak Newspaper Nigeria and Nigerian human rights activist, Comrade Olatunji Babatunde has written an open letter to the President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, demanding the removal of the former Governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike, as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), over conspicuous allegations of misconduct, corruption and abuse of office.
Comrade Olatunji Babatunde in the letter posted on his official Facebook verified page on Sunday.
The letter read: I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I am writing to bring to your esteemed attentions to remove Mr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike – CON, GSSRS from his position as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory. Recent revelations by Omoyele Sowore raise serious questions that demand accountability.
1.- It was revealed that an FCDA staff member, Mairiga Hassan Shaharu, was illegally detained after leaking documents showing how Mr. Wike allocated thousands of hectares of land to his sons a land grabbing scheme worth an estimated $6.45 billion. – Evidence Visit gazettengr.com/sowore-secures.
2. – FLASHBACK, Jamil Sarham, then-General Officer Commanding 6 Division of the Nigerian Army, said Nyesom Wike offered him billions of naira in a bribe to compromise the 2019 governorship election in the state.

5.- FLASHBACK, The Civil Society Network Against Corruption (CSNAC) in July 17, 2013 petitioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, over the alleged corrupt practices of Nyesom Wike, the Minister of State for Education.
