Following the nomination of a Ex-Ondo state Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs, Hon. Amidu Takuro, by the Governor of the state, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, who recently submitted Takuro’s name, alongside 11 others to the State’s House of Assembly for confirmation, political figures, allies and well-wishers have continued to congratulate Takuro.
During an exclusive interview with Peak Newspaper Nigeria, today, the Special Adviser to the Ondo state Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, on Union Matters and Special Duties, Comrade Bola Taiwo congratulated Alhaji Amidu Takuro for making the Commissioners nominees’ list.
Recounting his experience with Hon. Amidu Takuro, while Takuro was the Ondo state Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs, he said ” Hon. Takuro is an asset to Ondo state— he is unique, hard working, dedicated and supernaturally diplomatic— during his tenure as the Ondo state Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs, he ensured that grassroot governments in the state were effective and Chieftaincy concerns were swiftly attended to. He is a rare gem.”
