Nigerian nurses under NANNM-FHI have launched a seven-day strike over poor welfare and working conditions, defying government appeals.
The union said the strike follows the FG’s failure to act on a 15-day ultimatum.
Chairman Morakinyo Rilwan said members pushed for the action and are ready to face “no work, no pay.”
The strike runs until August 5.
