Nigerian entertainer Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has reacted to the comment by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, jokingly describing him as an “ashawo, Peak Newspaper reports.
A viral video making the rounds on social media showed former President Obasanjo making several teasing remarks about the entertainer, describing him as a “drug addict” and “ashawo.”
Now reacting to the comments, Charly Boy, in a post on his X handle on Friday, said he was not offended by the former president’s remarks, suggesting that they reflected a level of familiarity and affection between them.
