The Orunja of Odigbo Kingdom, Oba (Dr.) Rufus Olugboyega Akinrinmade, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the residents of Omifon Odigbo and family of the late Oloja Omifon of Odigbo Community, Alhaji Yusuf Adeshina, who passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2024.
Speaking with Peak Newspaper today, the Monarch described the sudden demise of Alhaji Yusuf as devastating, noting that his departure has created a significant void in Omifon Odigbo.
Reflecting on the life and legacy of the deceased, Oba Akinrinmade extolled him as a remarkable individual whose journey embodied courage, foresight, and selfless service.
“It is indeed a great loss — one that has pierced our hearts. The death of our beloved Oloja Alhaji Yusuf Adeshina is both devastating and unexpected. My prayer goes to the family of the deceased,” he said.
“I pray that God grants his family the strength and fortitude they need during this difficult period,” Oba Rufus added.
