A pro-democracy organization, Good Governance Advocacy Group (GGAG), has applauded the Chairman of Odigbo Local Government Area, Honourable Taiwo Adegoroye, describing him as one of the most outstanding local government chairmen in Ondo State.
Speaking with journalists during the group’s convention in Ikeja, Lagos State, the President of GGAG, Comrade Juwon Akinsola, commended Adegoroye’s leadership style and developmental strides, which, according to him, have set a new standard for local governance in the state.
Akinsola highlighted some of the notable achievements of Adegoroye’s administration, including infrastructural development, renovation of public secondary schools, facilitation of empowerment programmes, and various community development initiatives— he described the administration as “phenomenal and a pacesetter in grassroots governance.”
GGAG — a socio-cultural and political group committed to promoting good governance at the grassroots — officially recognized Adegoroye’s administration as the best-performing local government administration in Ondo State.
The group also commended the Governor of Ondo State, Honourable Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for his inclusive, transparent, and progressive leadership style, which it noted has created an enabling environment for local governments to thrive.
While celebrating Adegoroye’s achievements, GGAG urged other local government chairmen in Ondo State and across the country to strengthen grassroots administration through honesty, resilience, and strategic collaboration with key stakeholders.
