Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, has approved automatic lecturing appointments for all first-class graduates of Abia State University, Uturu, Peak Newspaper reports
According to the governor, the initiative is aimed at rewarding academic excellence and retaining the best talents within the state’s education system. Beneficiaries will be employed as graduate assistants, providing them with immediate entry into the academic workforce.
Otti noted that the move is part of broader efforts to strengthen the quality of education in Abia State by investing in highly skilled and outstanding graduates.
