Kenny Okolugbo, aide to Senate President Godswill Akpabio, has petitioned the Inspector General of Police over the alleged hacking of his verified X account and a coordinated defamation campaign.
Okolugbo claims the hacked account was used to post false statements, which were amplified by influencers Tunde Ednut, Rufai Oseni, and Adeola Fayehun, accusing him of phone cloning and fictitious London meetings tied to Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.
He is demanding a full investigation, prosecution of those behind the alleged cyberattack, and preservation of digital evidence.
