Nigeria’s largest carrier, Air Peace, has announced that several of its flights will experience delays following heavy rainfall in Lagos on Tuesday morning.
The airline, in a statement, explained that the downpour disrupted scheduled operations at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, causing knock-on effects across its route network.
“Due to the early morning heavy rain in Lagos, flight operations have been impacted, leading to unavoidable delays on some of our flights. We sincerely apologize to our esteemed customers for the inconvenience,” the statement read.
Air Peace assured passengers that efforts are underway to minimize the disruptions and ensure flights resume promptly once weather conditions improve.
The airline further appealed for understanding, noting that safety remains its top priority.
