The All-Democratic Alliance (ADA) has positioned itself as a rising transformational political movement determined to reset Nigeria’s political compass and seize power in the 2027 general elections.
Speaking with journalists, the party’s Protem National Vice Chairman (South-West), Engr. Anthony Ojeshina, said ADA is not “just another political party” but “a national rebirth movement” built on sacrifice, bold leadership, and a moral compass strong enough to steer the nation out of what he called “decay and despair.”
Ojeshina described ADA as a coalition of “tested statesmen, academics, visionary elites, professionals, trade unionists, patriotic youths and women” united by a shared vision to reclaim Nigeria’s lost values and establish a just, fair and progressive state.
“Our mission is simple yet profound,” he said. “To mobilize Nigeria’s diverse peoples into a cohesive democratic force that will restore trust in governance, rebuild national purpose, and create a patriotic leadership elite based on merit, vision and public spirit.”
The ADA chieftain rolled out the party’s objectives, which include:
National unity and reconciliation beyond ethnic and religious divides.
Eliminating extremism and sectarianism that fuel division.
Entrenching inclusivity, equity, and dialogue across all communities.
Reclaiming Nigeria’s ethos of patriotism and self-reliance as the foundation of governance.
He said that the party aimed to “evoke a new spirit of civic duty” by promoting civic education, reorienting political consciousness, and renewing Nigeria’s identity as “a united, indivisible nation rooted in justice and equity.”
According to Ojeshina, ADA’s blueprint involves a “radical and thorough social transformation” to dismantle poverty and create fresh democratic institutions where new power and property relations will thrive.
He emphasized that ADA intends to reorient Nigeria’s democratic narrative, making mass participation in politics relevant to the people’s lived realities and cultural heritage.
“ADA is not just a political party; it is a clarion call to rise above decay and despair,” Ojeshina said. “We summon Nigerians to join us in building a new dawn of peace, unity, strength, and greatness.”
