The Executive Chairman of Odigbo Local Government, Honourable Taiwo Adegoroye has hosted an Ondo state Monarch, Oba Dr. Rufus Olugboyega Akinrinmade FCPA FCNA, The Orunja of Odigbo Kingdom at his Odigbo Local Government Secretariat office.
Peak Newspaper Nigeria learnt that the royal visit of the Monarch to Hon. Adegoroye’s office was to officially congratulate Adegoroye and discuss key issues with the Local Government Boss.
Speaking at the Odigbo Local Government Secretariat, during his royal visit to Hon. Adegoroye’s office, the Orunja of Odigbo Kingdom congratulated Hon. Adegoroye on his victory as the elected Odigbo Local Government Chairman.
He also assured the Chairman of his unalloyed support and collaboration, stating that “for there to be sustainable growth and development in a society, the Government and traditional rulers must maintain a strong synergy— today, I assure you of my unfiltered support and cooperation, toward a progressive Odigbo and Ondo state, at large.”
Furthermore, Oba Rufus Adegboyega rained royal blessings on Hon. Adegoroye, wishing him a successful and impactful administration, under which Odigbo and her residents will prosper and flourish.
Reacting to the Monarch’s visit to his office, Hon. Adegoroye appreciated the Orunja of Odigbo Kingdom. He described the royal visit as “profound and humbling.”
“It is an immeasurable honour to host the crown of Odigbo. I want to emphatically thank His Royal Majesty for this honour. Your visit here today is testament to your amazing character as a father, leader and your passion for a progressive society.
“Also, your visit to our office today symbolizes divine blessing and unity. We are inspired and highly motivated by this gesture of love and collaboration and I promise to take Odigbo to the promise land,” Hon. Adegoroye said.
