Commander of the corps, Adetunji Adeleye while parading the suspects at the commands headquarters in Akure said the criminals were arrested across the 18 local government area of the state

He explained that among the 31 suspects being paraded, 13 among them were allegedly linked to the series of kidnap incidents that had taken
place in the state in the recent time.

Likewise, some of them were people supplying daily needs of kidnappers in their dens.

Other suspects were paraded for criminal activities ranging from armed robbery, cultism, burglary and stealing.

Adeleye also called on the people of the state to be wary of some scavengers who are working as spies for bandits and kidnappers.
