IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu shocked the courtroom after declaring that the charges against him have no legal basis in Nigerian law, Peak Newspaper reports.
He Said: “My Lord, there’s no law in this country to support these charges. If there is, read it out to me. I will not defend a charge that doesn’t exist.”
The judge, visibly surprised, asked Kanu to put his statement in writing and adjourned the case to November 4th–6th, 2025.
