Prominent APC chieftain Joe Igbokwe has stirred fresh controversy after declaring that Nnamdi Kanu, the detained IPOB leader, “does not deserve” any presidential pardon from Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a fiery statement, Igbokwe — often criticized by many Igbos for his hard stance — said Kanu’s actions had caused “unnecessary chaos” and that granting him pardon would be a “reward for lawlessness.”
His remarks have sparked outrage among supporters of Kanu, who insist the separatist leader deserves justice, not persecution.
