Governor Umaru Mohammed Bago has forwarded the names of new commissioner nominees to the Niger State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation, in line with Section 192(2) of the 1999 Constitution (as amended), Peak Newspaper reports.
In a statement released by the Government House, Minna, Governor Bago noted that the nominations followed wide consultations and were based on integrity, competence, and dedication to the progress of Niger State.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to delivering good governance, strengthening institutions, and ensuring that capable hands drive the state’s development agenda.
