The traditional ruler of Agamo community in Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State, Oba Kehinde Alodun, has reportedly been killed by suspected bandits, Peak Newspaper reports.
According to reports, the monarch was attacked on Wednesday evening. It was gathered that the gunmen allegedly attempted to abduct him, but he resisted the attack. During the struggle, he was said to have been shot and killed.
The late royal father was the monarch of Agamo community in Akure North LGA, Ondo State a development that has sent shockwaves across the community and the entire state.
Residents have expressed fear and outrage over the growing insecurity in parts of Ondo State, calling on security agencies and the Ondo State Government to urgently address the situation and bring the perpetrators to justice.
