Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has vowed to take fresh legal action against her colleague Lizzy Anjorin over alleged defamatory statements and threats directed at her family.
The move comes months after a Lagos High Court struck out Ojo’s ₦1 billion defamation suit against Anjorin on procedural grounds and ordered her lawyer to pay ₦500,000 in costs.
Ojo, who revealed that her legal team is documenting all of Anjorin’s online remarks, accused her of hurling curses, insults, and even death threats , particularly targeting her grandson. She said the attacks have gone beyond social media banter and now pose a serious concern for her family’s safety.
The long-running feud, which has seen petitions, lawsuits, and public spats, worsened after Ojo linked a fire incident at her Lagos office and alleged surveillance threats to Anjorin’s actions. She insists that if anything happens to her or her loved ones, Anjorin should be held responsible.
