Constituents of Odigbo constituency 2, in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo state has hailed a state lawmaker, Hon. Babatunde Oluwarotimi Fasonu, who is representing Odigbo 2, at the 10th Ondo state House of Assembly, for providing a free intensive medical outreach for his constituents, Peak Newspaper Nigeria reports
The Free Medical Outreach was held on Friday, 4 at Civic Center, Araromi Obu and today, Saturday, 5, July, at Town Hall, in Oniparaga area of Odigbo Local Government, Ondo state, featuring some germane health benefits, including malaria test and treatment; tuberculosis and HIV test; chest X-ray; blood sugar level; blood pressure check up; free drugs; free medical consultation and general consultation.
One of the constituents of Odigbo constituency 2, who benefited from Hon. Babatunde Fasonu’s free medical outreach at the Civil Centre, in Araromi-Obu, Mrs. Fadeni appreciated Fasonu for facilitating the free medical outreach.
She said “this is a very commendable initiative— Many of our people die because of ignorance of their health status, fortunately, this free medical outreach, facilitated by our Son, a man who genuinely loves and cares for his people, Hon. Babatunde Oluwarotimi Fasonu, provides us the privilege to free medical tests, free medicine and medical consultation.
“We are proud of him. He is a good leader, who leads with kindness, focus and fear of God,” she added.
Further more, another free medical outreach facilitated by Hon. Fasonu is scheduled for 6th and 7th of July, at the Town Hall, in the Oniparaga area of Ondo state.
Also, recall that Peak Newspaper Nigeria reported, a few days ago, how Hon. Fasonu facilitated a Farmers’ Support Programme, where over 2000 hybrid cocoa seedlings were distributed to Cocoa farmers in Odigbo constituency 2, tailored to empower the farmers.
While addressing the constituents, Hon. Fasonu appreciated the constituents for trooping out en masse for the free medical outreach and for their continued cooperation.
“The Free Medical Outreach aims to ensure that our constituents are healthy, aware of their health status and have a grasp understanding of how to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I am committed, not just to the growth and development of our constituency, but also to the well-being of the constituents,” Fasonu reassured constituents.
