Born in Otukpo, Benue State on July 28, 1947. Chief Audu Ogbe was chairman of the PDP) 2001 till January 2005.
He served as the Minister of communications for NPN in the Second Republic from 1982 to 1983.
He cross carpet from the PDP to APC in 2015 and was given the portfolio of Minister of Agriculture from 2015 – 2019.
