The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has increased its service fees, effective from August 1, 2025.
According to the Commission, the decision was made after a thorough assessment of the current economic climate, rising operational expenses, and extensive consultations with key stakeholders.
In a public notice made available to newsmen on Tuesday, the CAC explained that the fee adjustment aims to deliver efficient, technology-driven services in line with the needs of businesses and the Nigerian economy.
According to the CAC, the new structure will affect businesses, legal practitioners, compliance officers, and stakeholders frequently engaging with the corporate registry for post-incorporation and related services.
“The Commission wishes to inform the general public, esteemed customers, and all stakeholders that in its continued effort to improve service delivery, it has become necessary to review certain service fees effective the 1st day of August 2025.
“This decision follows careful consideration of prevailing economic realities, rising operational costs, and engagement with key stakeholders prior to implementation,” the CAC said.
“The review is modest, competitive, and aligns with our commitment to enhance service delivery through digitalized operations and maintain the integrity of the Nigerian Corporate Registry.”
