The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has urged INEC to investigate Governor Charles Soludo after he reportedly promised ₦1 million to each ward won by his party, APGA, in the upcoming Nov 8 governorship election.
ADC’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, described Soludo’s statement as “a public confession of vote-buying.”
At a campaign rally in Orumba South, Soludo was quoted saying:
> “Any ward that APGA wins will receive ₦1 million, while the top three performing wards will get ₦5m, ₦2m, and ₦1m respectively.”
